The New Year has kicked off to a great start after the rain stirred up the offshore fishing. Some great weather allowed the Reefari crew to pick up some nice fish including excellent mixed bags of nannygai, red emporer, coral trout, cod, cobia and heaps of other species.
The fishing has been reported as fantastic if you are able to get out. Picking a gap in the weather has been a prime catalyst to success. Some good cobia have been floating around in the deeper water with three taken on one trip, the largest going to 14 kilos.
